You Can Do It! 

It's time to check off "Complete a  Half-Marathon or 5K" from your bucket list - or add another medal to your collection! Gilda's Gang provides you with a 14-week, detailed training program to take you from any level of fitness to half-marathon (or 5K!) finisher, culminating in crossing the finish line for the MVP Rochester 5K or Half Marathon on September 16 or 17. Whether you're a seasoned runner or walker, or someone who is looking to start: this program is for you. 

Not interested in training? You can support any of our Gilda's Gang members! Every donation is appreciated and all funds raised stay in Rochester. 

Grab Your Sneakers! 

Dedicated trainers work with you on your training! Gilda's Gang meets as a group every Saturday morning for a varied-length run or walk, and to offer training tips, support, and encouragement. During the week, you'll follow our customized training plan for runs/walks, cross-training, and more. 

Support Gilda's Club!

As a member of Gilda's Gang, you'll be doing great things for yourself and for Gilda's Club Rochester.  Gilda's Gang is now in its tenth year, and has raised over $250,000 to keep viable the free cancer support programming that GCR provides to men, women, teens, and kids in the Rochester community. 

Sign on to train for the half-marathon, and commit to raising $500; sign on for the 5K, and commit to raising $250. Every dollar raised stays in Rochester to support those whose lives have been touched by cancer. 

As Gilda herself said, "The same way people in gangs can do things that the individual could never do alone, the gang of us fighting cancer makes us all stronger."
